Your Customers Can't Read Flight Numbers.
Show Them the Flight.
DGFV is the only 3D disc golf flight simulator built for retail. Embed it on your site, let customers visualize every disc before they buy, and turn confusion into confidence.
Every Disc Retailer Knows This Problem
Your customers want to buy online, but the tools they have to pick the right disc are falling short.
Flight Numbers Don't Click
Four numbers on a product page: speed, glide, turn, fade. Even players who throw three times a week struggle to picture what those numbers actually mean in the air. A -2 turn vs. a -3 turn? A 5 glide vs. a 6? Without context, flight numbers are just data. Your customers are guessing, and when they guess wrong, they lose trust in buying online.
Flat Charts Fall Short
The flight chart tools that exist today draw a 2D line on a flat screen. No altitude. No depth. No wind. No feel for how the disc actually moves through space. It's a step up from raw numbers, but it doesn't give a customer the "aha" moment that makes them confident enough to click "add to cart."
Online Misses the 'Feel' Factor
In a pro shop, customers can hold a disc, talk to someone who throws it, and get a feel for what it does. Online, they have a photo and a spec sheet. That gap between the in-store experience and the online experience is costing you sales. Customers who aren't confident will either buy from a local shop or skip the purchase entirely.
What if your customers could see exactly how a disc flies before they add it to cart?
That's DGFV. A 3D flight simulator your customers use right on your product pages. They pick a disc, adjust the throw, and watch the flight happen in real time. No guessing. No confusion. Just confidence.
Try It Yourself
This is the exact tool your customers would use. Pick a disc, adjust the throw, and watch it fly.
Running live in your browser. No plugins, no downloads. This is what your customers get.
How It Works
From setup to sales in four steps. No developers required.
Tell Us What You Sell
Share your disc inventory: the brands you carry, the molds you stock. We configure DGFV to show only the discs your shop actually sells. Your customers won't see discs they can't buy from you.
We Customize Your Tool
We build your embed around your inventory and your preferences. This isn't a generic widget. It's configured for your shop, showing your discs, ready for your customers.
Paste One Line of Code
You get a single embed code. Paste it on your product pages, your homepage, or a dedicated "Flight Simulator" page. Works with Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, or any platform that supports HTML. If you can paste text, you can install DGFV.
Your Customers Visualize and Buy
Customers pick a disc, set their throw style, add wind conditions, and watch the flight in full 3D. They understand the disc before they buy it. More confidence means more sales and happier customers who come back.
What Powers Every Flight
DGFV is a physics engine that simulates real disc flight in three dimensions. Not a chart with curves.
Real Discs
1,484 discs across 112 manufacturers: Innova, Discraft, MVP, Axiom, Latitude 64, Dynamic Discs, Westside, Discmania, Prodigy, Gateway, Kastaplast, Infinite Discs, Lone Star, Thought Space, MINT, and 95+ more. Every disc uses its actual flight numbers to drive the simulation. Database updates as new molds release.
Plastic Awareness
90 specific plastic types across the top 18 brands. Champion holds the catalog. DX beats in fast and flies flippy. Star sits between. Same Destroyer, three completely different flights. Every plastic has its own wear curve and out-of-the-box stability. Smaller brands fall back to Base / Mid / Premium-Mid / Premium tiers.
True Physics
Altitude, distance, lateral movement, first-person ground-level camera. Throw power, decoupled launch angle, lateral aim, hyzer/anhyzer, nose angle, spin RPM, wobble (off-axis torque), wear simulation, and wind speed all affect the flight path. The closest thing to watching a real throw without being on the course.
Compare Flights
Customers can throw multiple discs and see the flights side by side with color-coded trails. Trying to decide between two molds, or the same disc in two plastics? Throw them both. The visual comparison sells itself.
Responsive
Desktop, tablet, phone. The simulator adapts to any screen size with touch controls built in. Your customers get the full experience whether they're at home or browsing on their phone at the course.
Shareable Bags
Customers build a bag inside the tool, export it as a JSON file, and send it to friends. Friends import it and see the exact same setup with the same disc-and-plastic combinations. Custom discs and per-disc weight overrides included. A built-in organic referral loop: every shared bag points back to your store as the source.
The Math Is Simple
DGFV doesn't need to transform your business. It just needs to help a few more customers pick the right disc.
When customers can visualize how a disc flies before buying, they buy with more confidence. Industry research on 3D product visualization shows conversion rate lifts between 5% and 20% across e-commerce.
For a shop doing even $5,000/month in online sales, a modest 3% conversion lift means $150 in additional monthly revenue. At the introductory rate of $75/month, DGFV pays for itself with just a small bump in customer confidence. At full price, you're still looking at positive ROI from day one.
That's before accounting for the customers who would have gone to a physical store instead of buying from your site, or the ones who would have skipped the purchase entirely because they weren't sure which disc to pick.
The tool pays for itself. Everything after that is profit.
I have a PD and was thinking about getting a Vanguard, but I was worried they'd fly too similar. After comparing them side by side in the flight app, I could see the Vanguard flew a bit farther and didn't fade as much. So I bought one. It flew exactly like the app showed. Farther and less fade. A perfect companion to the PD.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. If you can paste a line of code into your Shopify theme or WooCommerce page, you can install DGFV. We provide step-by-step setup guides, and we're happy to walk you through it on a call if needed.
Our database covers 1,484 discs from 112 manufacturers. If a disc is missing, let us know and we'll add it. We update the database regularly as new molds release.
Yes. We have 90 specific plastic types across the top 18 manufacturers, each with its own wear-in curve and out-of-the-box stability adjustment. A Champion Destroyer holds catalog flight numbers for years. A DX Destroyer flies slightly understable from new and beats in fast. At "Beat" wear, the same disc in DX vs Champion is roughly 50ft of lateral spread on the same throw. Manufacturers covered: Innova (Champion / Star / DX / Pro / GStar / KC Pro / R-Pro / XT / Halo / Glow / Blizzard), Discraft (Z / Big Z / Titanium / ESP / ESP-FLX / Pro-D / Jawbreaker / Cryztal), MVP / Axiom / Streamline (Proton / Plasma / Eclipse / Neutron / Cosmic Neutron / Fission / Electron / Electron Soft), Dynamic Discs / Latitude 64 / Westside (Lucid / Opto / VIP, Fuzion / Gold / Tournament, Prime / Retro / Origio plus variants), Discmania (C / S / P / D Line), Prodigy (200-750), Gateway (Diamond / SureGrip / Eraser), Kastaplast (K1 / K3), DGA, Infinite Discs (I / S / C / G / P / X-Blend), Lone Star Disc, Thought Space Athletics, MINT Discs. Smaller brands fall back to generic Base / Mid / Premium-Mid / Premium tiers, still functional, just less specific. We can add specific plastics for any retailer's most-stocked brands at signup.
Yes, that's the Enterprise tier. We mirror your real inventory inside the tool: only the discs you stock, in only the weights you carry. If you don't sell a 165g Wraith, customers can't pick one. The simulator becomes a 1:1 representation of what's available to buy, so every flight they see corresponds to a SKU they can actually purchase from you. When your stock changes, send us the updated list and we refresh the tool.
No. DGFV loads in an iframe, which means it doesn't affect your page's initial load time or SEO. The simulator itself is lightweight and loads independently from the rest of your site.
Pro includes "Powered by DGFV" branding at the top of the tool. Enterprise gives you full white-label control with no DGFV branding, so it looks like a native part of your site.
Cancel anytime. No annual contracts, no cancellation fees. We'll help you remove the embed and you're done.
Yes. The simulator is fully responsive with touch controls built in. Your customers get the full 3D experience on phones, tablets, and desktops.
Existing tools are 2D line charts. They show a flat curve on a flat screen with no altitude, wind, or depth. DGFV is a full 3D environment where your customers see the disc fly through space with real physics. It's the difference between reading a map and watching a drone fly the route.
Yes. Customers can build a bag inside the tool and export it as a JSON file (custom discs and per-disc weight overrides included), then send it to a friend who can import it and see the same setup. Useful for "throw this disc the way I throw it" moments, and a small organic referral loop back to your site as the source of the bag.
Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Wix, or any custom site. If your platform supports HTML (and they all do), DGFV works on it.
Built by a Disc Golfer, for Disc Golf
DGFV started because I got tired of squinting at flight number charts and guessing which disc to bag. I thought, what if you could just see the flight? So I built it. 1,484 discs, real physics, full 3D. The tool is free for every player at dgfv.io/demo.
The business product exists because I realized retailers have the same problem I did; customers who can't visualize flight paths don't buy with confidence.
I'm a one-person operation backed by good tools and a commitment to building something genuinely useful for this sport. If you have questions, reach out to me directly.
