DGFV, the Disc Golf Flight Visualizer | SiteClaw LLC
Document ID: DGFV-PP-2026-02 | Version: 2.0 FINAL
Effective Date: August 7, 2026 | Last Updated: September 4, 2026

1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how SiteClaw LLC and its product DGFV (Disc Golf Flight Visualizer) handles information when you visit dgfv.io, use the free flight visualizer at dgfv.io/demo, play the daily Flightle game at dgfv.io/flightle, enter the monthly disc giveaway, or contact us about an embed license for your brand or store. DGFV is a static website. It has no user accounts, no login, and no server-side database that stores your personal information.

This Policy applies to all visitors and users regardless of how they access DGFV, whether through a desktop or mobile browser or through a DGFV embed on a partner site.

Company Information: SiteClaw LLC, State of Formation: Michigan. Primary Contact: andrew@siteclaw.io. Website: dgfv.io

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Anyone Who Visits dgfv.io

Anonymous, aggregate analytics. The public pages (the home page, /demo, /flightle, and /app) use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It records anonymous, aggregated data such as page views, referrer, approximate region derived from your IP at request time, browser type, and device type. It does not store your IP address, does not set any cookie, and does not build a profile that identifies you or follow you across other websites. We do not run Google Analytics or any advertising or cross-site tracking tags.

What we do not collect here. No account is created and no login exists. The flight visualizer and Flightle do not send your disc selections, throws, guesses, or game results to us. We do not collect names, emails, or any personal information from you simply for using the free tools.

2.2 If You Contact Us About an Embed License

The only place dgfv.io collects personal information is the demo-request form on the home page. If you choose to submit it, you provide your name, email address, brand or business name, your role, an optional website URL, and your message. That form is delivered to us by Formspree, our form-processing provider. We use this information only to reply to you and discuss an embed license. There is no account and no password to create.

If you go on to license a DGFV embed, payment is handled by Stripe through a secure Stripe-hosted payment link that we send you directly. Stripe receives your billing name, email, and card details and processes them under Stripe's own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number.

2.3 Embed End-Users (Visitors to a Brand or Retailer Site)

When a brand or store embeds the DGFV visualizer on their own website, the embedded tool runs the visualization in the visitor's browser. Inside an embed it does not read or write browser local storage and does not collect personal information from the visitor. The embed does report the same anonymous, aggregate visit analytics described in Section 2.1, which includes the address of the page the embed is loaded on, so that we can report engagement to the brand or store that licensed it. This collection is a term of the embed license and is not optional for the licensee.

2.4 The Monthly Disc Giveaway

You enter the giveaway entirely off our website. To enter, you post your Flightle results grid as a comment in the monthly giveaway thread on Reddit (r/Flightle) or on the giveaway post on our Facebook Page. We do not collect entries through dgfv.io, and the giveaway page itself has no entry form and no analytics or cookies. Your entry, and any username attached to it, lives on Reddit or Facebook under their own privacy policies, not ours. If you win, we contact you on the platform you entered on, and to ship your prize we will need a mailing address, which you provide to us directly at that point and which we use only to send the prize. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or Reddit.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to operate and improve the tool, for analytical purposes, product development, security, and to comply with legal obligations. For embed license clients, we also use information for service delivery, billing, account management, and communication.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/GDPR)

We process personal data based on contractual necessity, legitimate business interests, consent, and legal compliance.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. DGFV relies on a small number of service providers, each handling only what its function requires:

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of DGFV, our users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

7. Data Security

DGFV is a static website served over HTTPS on Vercel's infrastructure, so traffic between your browser and the site is encrypted in transit. Because the site has no user accounts, no login, and no database of personal information, there are no stored passwords or user records to breach. The limited personal data we do handle lives with our service providers: demo-request messages with Formspree, and any client payment details with Stripe, each of which maintains its own security program. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information. You may opt out of marketing communications. To submit a privacy request, email andrew@siteclaw.io with the appropriate subject line.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out. We do not sell or share your data for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. To exercise California privacy rights, email andrew@siteclaw.io with "California Privacy Rights Request" in the subject line.

10. Other State Privacy Laws

We comply with the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), and Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA). Contact andrew@siteclaw.io with the appropriate state privacy request subject line.

11. Cookies and Local Storage

DGFV does not set any cookies. There are no advertising, marketing, or tracking cookies on dgfv.io, and our Vercel Web Analytics is configured without cookies.

Local storage (Flightle and the visualizer). The daily Flightle game and the flight visualizer save a small amount of data in your own browser using local storage, so the site can remember your progress and preferences on your device. Flightle stores four categories of data: your in-progress and completed puzzle state, your cumulative and season statistics, your settings (such as hard mode and colors-only tiles), and small housekeeping markers that track which puzzles you have already seen and when the puzzle last rolled over. All of it is written under keys beginning with "flightle-". The visualizer app stores things like your custom discs and saved bag. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to a server, is not shared with anyone, and does not identify you. When the visualizer runs as an embed on another website, local storage is disabled. You can erase all of it at any time by clearing your browser storage for dgfv.io.

12. Third-Party Links

DGFV may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing any information.

13. Children's Privacy

DGFV is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

14. International Data Transfers

DGFV is operated from the United States. For EU/EEA residents, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure adequate data protection. By using DGFV, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

15. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you via email (for Embed Clients) or website notice (for general users) and update the "Last Updated" date.
